Research & Engineering Center Sp. z.o.o opens new subsidiary in Zielona Gora!
12 April 2011 r. in Palmiarnia of Zielona Góra held a press conference organized by the City of Zielona Góra. In press conference took part : Deputy President - Dariusz Lesicki, chair of the board of REC company - Krzysztof Kuliński, Sales Director of REC company - Dr Wiesław Sobolewski, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications University of Zielona Gora - dr hab. inż. Andrzej Pieczyński, Head of the Department of Enterprise and Economy Activity Office of the City of Zielona Gora - Krzysztof Sikora and Director of the Tri-Lubuskie - Bartosz Fitych.
The REC - Research & Engineering Center Sp. z o.o. specialized in software engineering.
It was founded in 2007 in Wroclaw, and now two companies in Poland (RECs and REC Solutions), and companies located outside the country (REC Slovakia, Croatia REC, REC UK, Germany and the REC's partnership in the Netherlands, Austria, Greece and India) are a part of REC company.
In two company in Poland - in Wrocław and Koszalin - The REC employs about 180 engineers. Besides the company has broad experience in software engineering and ICT. Engineers carry out projects in the extent of telecommunications, the automotive industry, embedded systems, home appliances, consumer electronics, multimedia, internet, new media, banking and insurance.
Zielona Góra was selected from among the four cities (Katowice, Opole, Lublin, Zielona Góra). “The location of company pleased us and is a reward for the hard work of officials, but also the achievements of students at University.” “We simply have a great prepared staff” - the President Lesicki happily told.
Opening of a subsidiary in the Zielona Góra is associated with initial employment of about 20 engineers. It is planned that next year this number will double.
